FAQs #
Can I still acknowledge or comment on one alert at a time? #
Yes! We haven’t removed the previous method of handling alerts, so you can still open the detailed view of an alert and acknowledge from there. Alternatively, you can also select a single alert using the bulk acknowledging/commenting method.
Why can I comment on an alert even if it has not been acknowledged? #
To streamline the bulk commenting process, we now allow users to comment on all alerts simultaneously. However, if any of these alerts were unacknowledged, they will automatically be marked as acknowledged upon submitting the comment. In the audit trail, you will see these as two separate events—an Alarm Acknowledged and an Alarm Comment event.
Why do I have so many Acknowledge or Comment events in my Audit Trail with the same timestamp? #
Each acknowledge or comment event is tracked as a separate event per logger. If you have multiple events with the same timestamp, these were likely part of a bulk action. You can check the description of the event for “as part of a bulk action” as an indicator.
Why am I not seeing the history of my Reason Code, Corrective Action, or Preventive Action in the “Comments and Alert Events” pane? #
Currently, the history of these fields will only display in the Audit Trail.
